David Resseguie
David Resseguie is a member of the Computational Sciences and Engineering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has worked with ORNL since 2000 designing and implementing multiple large-scale computer systems for the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and other Federal Agencies.
David's current research focus is on applying Web 2.0 and social networking principles to the design of information sharing systems. He is the lead designer and lead developer for ORNL's Sensorpedia project. Other research interests include collaborative software interfaces, sketch- and touch-based computing, human-machine interaction, and standardized data formats for wide-area sensor network visualization.
Outside the lab, David has served as an instructor for ITT Technical Institute and coaches a local FIRST LEGO League robot competition team for middle school aged children. David holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, and a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee.
