Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American rock band, formed in Los Angeles in 1983. The band consists of founding members Anthony Kiedis (vocals) and Michael "Flea" Balzary (bass), alongside longtime drummer Chad Smith and recently added guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.
