Rhiannon Ladd

Rhiannon Ladd is an illustrator from East Grinstead in West Sussex, birthplace of AA Milne's Winnie the Pooh. I am an aspiring full time professional who works part time away from the creative arts after graduating from the University of the West of England in Bristol with a 2:1 in BA (Hon) Illustration. At University I was interested in reportage projects, book jackets and editorial illustration, as well as drawing and producing greetings cards for occasions such as Easter and Valentine's Day. My bold style of work is mostly created using acrylic paint with a digital line overlay, or with the use of colouring pencils; work is always hand drawn and coloured first before being introduced to the computer for rendering, reflecting a preference for the more traditional methods of working. I am constantly working on new projects and my blogs listed below are forever being updated with new images!

Craft is also a huge passion in my life and I particularly enjoy hand sewing cushions using faux fur and cotton, mostly so far with an animal theme.

In my free time away from my part time job and desk I enjoy going to football matches, reading novels and comics, visiting art galleries and museums and listening to music. I also love travelling, and have been to various European locations.

I am always interested in working on new and exciting projects; if you would like to commission me, my email address is rhiannonladd@hotmail.co.uk.
