Rhonda Gould is a public library director and consultant in Tacoma, Washington. Prior to moving to Washington in February 2013, she worked as a consultant in the areas of youth services and special needs at Lakeshores Library System in Waterford, Wisconsin for 13 years.

She has been active in many library associations and organizations, including the Washington Library Association, Wisconsin Library Association, Public Library Association, Association for Library Services to Children, Association for Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies, American Library Asssociation, and the Collaborative Summer Library Program.

She is the current president of the Association for Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies and chair of the 2017 Caldecott Award committee. She is the editor of the 2016 Collaborative Summer Reading Program manual for adults.

She was the president of the Wisconsin Library Association in 2011, the ALSC division councilor to ALA Council from 2010-12, and president of the Collaborative Summer Library Program in 2011-12. She was on the 2008 Caldecott Award committee which selected The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick for that year's medal.

She has presented programs at many conferences on topics ranging from summer reading programs, advocacy, readers advisory, long range planning, youth services, library services for Spanish speakers, and accessibility.

She married the guy of her dreams October 29, 2011 in a library-themed wedding at the Racine (WI) Public Library. She's the very proud mom of Bethany, and very proud stepmom of Emma and Henry. She has 14 year old littermate sister Himalayan cats (Rosie and Posie) and was adopted by Boris Katanov KGB Spy Cat after moving to Tacoma.

She sings bass with Jet Cities Chorus, an affiliate of Sweet Adelines International. She is a big fan of traditional New Orleans-style jazz, the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers, and loves living in the Pacific Northwest!
