As Founder and CEO of SMB Solutions I am responsible for building and managing the business as well as looking after clients.

My Background is in Accounting, ERP software and Cloud ERP Solutions as well asMarketingStrategy and Execution

I joined SAP in August of 2003 after 5 years at Great Plains Software and Microsoft in a variety of roles from Channel management through to product support escalation, product management for Great Plains eBusiness applications as well as being a product evangelist for Dynamics GP (as it is now known) as well as .Net and Microsoft BizTalk and Commerce Server.

Prior to crossing over to the dark side and working in vendor land, I spent more than 15 years running my own small business selling, implementing and supporting small business ERP solutions in Australia such as Great Plains(Dynamics GP), Attache, Infor Sun Systemsand MYOB as well as implementing complete small business IT solutions from networks through to database application development.

As a result of running my own small business and typifying what Michael Gerber refers to as a “technician having an entrepreneurial seizure” I can truly identify with the challenges many small businesses face particularly when it comes to building the business beyond being a sole practitioner “responsible for everything’ as I have experienced that first hand.

For that reason I have spent many hours looking at how small businesses can be truly effective, particularly when it comes to utilizing Information Technology and becoming successful marketers and as a result I came across John Jantsch and his web site and blog, www.ducttapemarketing.com .

In September of 2009 I made the jump and decided to invest in becoming an Authorized Duct Tape Marketing Coach so that I could really leverage the system and tools that John has developed (and continues to build on) to assist small businesses become better marketers and to utilise those tools and systems with SAP Partners across the world.

In addition I am also a Hubspot Certified Inbound Marketing specialist
