Widely recognized for his work as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, Rick Schaden has supported small business owners, veterans, families, and others in need through a number of key business and charitable initiatives. Based in Colorado throughout his career, Richard E. Schaden serves as chief executive officer of Consumer Capital Partners, a diversified investment and operating company with holdings in financial services, real estate, restaurant, and sporting endeavors. In tandem with his responsibilities at Consumer Capital Partners, Rick Schaden devotes his time, energy, and resources to a number of causes in the Denver area and beyond, including organizations that fund education, the environment, and underserved communities.

Passionate about ending homelessness for veterans and families, Richard Schaden serves on the board of directors of America’s Road Home, which works with cities across the United States to address the causes of poverty. In addition to this organization, Rick Schaden helps underserved families and individuals through Community Food Share, an affiliate of Feeding America which serves the counties of Boulder and Broomfield, and Millennium Promise, which sponsors community-building and sustainability initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa. Other organizations to which Mr. Schaden contributes include Smart-Girl, the Davis Phinney Foundation, the University of Colorado Law School, UNICEF, and CARE.

As a testament to this extensive support, Rick Schaden has been presented with an award from the California state legislature for his commitment to low-income Americans and a Stewart B. McKinney Award for his advocacy for the homeless. He also served on President Bill Clinton’s White House Conference on Small Business.
