There are so many food bloggers about you might wonder why I've bothered to start one myself. I've thought that too. I was tidying the study recently when I found a folder called 'Food Maps'. It basically had two maps in it, one for San Francisco and one for Barcelona, they were homemade using Google maps and Sellotape. On them were well researched ( I love a bit of that) places to go and eat wherever we were in the city. There was no need to be disappointed by a sandwich or quick lunch again.

I realised then that I was relying on other peoples idea of what was good or not. After reading thousands of blogs I now count on a few that I trust. I want this to be one that you can.

I've got an amazing family who I expect will feature heavily perhaps I'll do a family tree...
