I am a science communicator from the UK and enjoy travelling, writing and sharing my passion for astronomy and science.
I am a graduate of the University of Leicester in Physics with Astrophysics MPhys (Hons) and an alumnus of the International Space University (ISU) Space Studies Programme 2013 (SSP13).
I am currently a freelance editorial consultant for space. I am Editor-in-Chief at Design & Data GmbH, an award-winning crossmedia agency based in Cologne, Germany specialised in science communication and outreach solutions for science domains in general and the space sector in particular. I write forSpaceoneers– enabling a new generation of space pioneers – a 'new space' website that highlights space startups, entrepreneurship and events. I organise space startup events such asINNOspace WeekendandΦ-week Bootcamp.
I am an aspiring "astropreneur" and am seeking to facilitate space entrepreneurship in Leicester via SpaceUp Leicester and create a community for science communication in Leicester through #LeicSciComm.
I am a former Communication Intern at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Garching, near Munich in Germany, as well as a former intern at Universe Awareness (UNAWE) based at Leiden University, supporting the dissemination of Space Scoop.
I was a Trustee of UKSEDS (formerly Vice Chair and Secretary), where I sought to facilitate UK space activities among youth and stimulate interest in my outreach capacities.
