Ryan Laird

I'm a science communicator from the UK and enjoy travelling, writing and sharing my passion for astronomy and science.

I graduated in Physics with Astrophysics (MPhys) at the University of Leicester and am an alumnus of the International Space University (ISU) Space Studies Programme 2013 (SSP13).

I am currently a journalist intern in science communication the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Garching near Munich in Germany. Before that I was an intern at Universe Awareness (UNAWE) at Leiden University, supporting the dissemination of Space Scoop - astronomy news for kids.

I am also Vice Chair of UKSEDS (UK Students for the Exploration and Development of Space). I am also a #spacetweep and you can find me hanging around on Twitter @rjmlaird where I share my passion for science communication, education and outreach.
