Rosemary J Wells

Rosemary was born in Bournemouth on south coast of England. Trained as a teacher. Now teaching piano, guitar and music theory privately in student's homes in Dorset. Plays piano and organ in Methodist Chapel and leads a small choir there. Loves singing.

Has given talks to local groups since the age of 17.

Married with 2 grown sons and 3 granddaughters.

Has always wanted to write. Won the Silver Salver for adult poetry in the 2009 Wootton Bassett Arts Festivals l, Wiltshire. Has had several articles published in The Methodist Recorder, weekly newpaper of the UK Methodist church.

Belongs to The Jurassic Coast Writers' circle that meets in Charmouth, Dorset. Writes comic topical and local songs. Has had a hymn tune published and word of a harvest hymn.

Presently writing a blog and book for novices about public speaking, which was inspired by attending over many years some dreadful talks and talks that could have been much better, using experiences both good and bad as material, which is hoped will help others. Also writing a novel set in Dorset.
