Ron. Lavalette
Writer in Barton, Vermont
Ron. is a widely-published writer (400+ poems/short prose pieces online & in print) living in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, land of the fur-bearing lake trout and the bilingual stop sign. From his front yard, he could easily throw a stone into Canada but has learned, from bitter experience with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, that doing so is considered a hostile action.
Ron.'s premier chapbook, FALLEN AWAY (Finishing Line Press) is availableat all standard outlets.
Ron. has won a couple of awards, includingthe following: Laureates’ Choice Award / Maria W. Faust Sonnet Contest / 2018
Joanna Catherine Scott Award (Honorable Mention) NCPS / 2020
A reasonable sample of his (many) published works, both poetry and short prose, can be found at EGGS OVER TOKYO:
Like most folks with an abundance of time on their hands, Ron. blogs; and because he likes to keep things eggish, he calls his blog SCRAMBLED, NOT FRIED:
He's not quite dead yet.
