First of all thank you for taking time out of busy schedule and looking at my page. Since you are visiting my page you must have seen my profile in the social networking site Facebook or in the professional networking site LinkedIn. Well if you don't know me here's a short intro:

My name is Rajiv Lochan Baruah. Born to Hemanta Kumar Baruah and Gita Baruah on 12/02/1993 in the state of Assam, India. I passed my class 10th and 12th CBSE board from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Silpukhuri, Guwahati. Presently I am pursuing my B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam.

After completing my B.Tech degree, I want to do my Masters in Machine Design from IIT Delhi/Mumbai or IISc Bangalore. Further, I want to pursue Ph.D in the same field from a reputed US University. Also my long term career goal is to become an IAS officer.

In my leisure time I mostly choose to do some net surfing though some of my other hobbies include cooking and watching movies. Swimming is my favourite outdoor activity. Talking of dreams, the only thing I wish to do is to take my parents on a foreign trip.
