Robert Bodnar

My work’s ambition is the scrutineering of both human and - seemingly objective - machine-made perception of reality.
The development of my works was underpinned by research, theoretical considerations, experimental approaches, conceptual ideas, film, architecture, metaphysics, media theory, pataphysics, science and intra‐personal issues.

My domain is the work on the basics of photography itself, thus trying to unlock the realm of possibilities of the medium. This circumstance calls for a research on photographic techniques and machines as well.

A part of my artwork tries to set up at the photography’s border to other media.
