Grew up in a small town in Utah. Excelled in school, graduated as valedictorian and focused in music and musical education playing viola, percussion, and vocals.

Moved to Tacoma, WA to attend the University of Puget Sound. Studied music, mathematics, computer science, and business. Graduated with a major in business administration with a minor in mathematics. During my time at university, I participated in:

  • Japanese Club
  • Chorale
  • Orchestra
  • Band
  • Pep Band
  • 4-man A Cappella group
  • Anime Club

After graduating from University in 2004, moved to Japan to teach English for the GEOS corporation. This was a fantastic experience that allowed me to immerse myself in a different culture and expand myself as a person.

In 2005, I moved to Honolulu, HI moving in with a friend from college. I began work at First Hawaiian Bank as a phone rep, but soon moved into working as a Senior Underwriter and Risk Analyst.

2008 brought some change as I transitioned to FHB's sister-bank, Bank of the West, in Omaha, NE assisting with their credit card program. This year also brought the start of the recession including mass layoffs which I was caught up in.

In 2009, I was able to get a job with First National Bank in the Online Banking section. A few months later, I was able to get into working with PayPal in the Due Diligence department, responsible for reviewing account activity for signs of money laundering and terrorist financing and ensuring compliance to regulations.

In 2012, I started taking classes at Bellevue University to study computer programming again. I earned a certificate there having studied C# and Java.

In 2013, I began producing a podcast for players of World of Warcraft called "Monk Meditation". This project requires me to manage RSS feeds, website, video and audio production, scheduling, and PR. The project is fun and rewarding, even if it is not profitable.

2014 brought a career path switch as I transitioned within PayPal to becoming an Integration
