Robert Zaitooni

Since 2009, Robert Zaitooni has worked for American Traffic Solutions, Inc., as senior design and engineering manager. In this capacity, he leads the teams that conducts engineering analysis for site selection and traffic analysis, constructability analysis, civil and structural design, as well as preparation of design variance and justification reports. Robert Zaitooni works closely with construction teams, permitting agencies, and contractors to ensure that all permitting and engineering issues are resolved.

Having earned his civil engineering degree at the University of Central Florida, Mr. Zaitooni held a position with Seminole County, Florida, as county traffic engineer from 1995 to 2001. He managed a number of countywide programs, encompassing highway safety, signing/marking, traffic calming, and signal/signal system initiatives. As public works director with the City of Ocoee, Florida, in the early 2000s, he managed solid waste, traffic, streets, and facilities and fleet maintenance divisions. Robert Zaitooni also directed the restoration of public works infrastructure following a trio of hurricanes within a period of approximately one month in 2004.
