Writer, thinker, I've been everything from a scientist to a guy dressed in black that worked back-stage magic in a theater. Now I'm a science and tech writer found in various places in print and online, mainly at The New York Times and Fast Company.

I love things that go "ping!" and I nearly always try to think about tech from a different angle, and ask the odd and interesting questions that people tend not to.

Add in a sprinkling of photography-fanaticism, a merry dash of partying and a habitual gadget-carrying ...er, habit... and you've got something that is almost entirely not quite unlike me.
