Rod Knowlton
Either the youngest Baby Boomer or the eldest Gen-X, I'm a twenty-seventh year junior majoring in Whatever Interests Me at Whatever College Is Handy.
Mostly that means All Things Computer, yet somehow it led to an Associate's in Liberal Arts.
I'm paid to develop J2EE web applications by day, and to stay sane I dabble in everything that isn't J2EE web applications by night.
My first computer was a Timex/Sinclair 1000, my most recent is an iMac, and I've used a whole lot of operating systems. My recent (scattered) focus is on learning to design and develop with web standards, developing iOS applications, and Ruby on Rails.
I try to write a funny thing or two every now and then. Sometimes I succeed.
I'm a published author (two jokes, unpaid, in a book, and one technical article, paid, for the now defunct Unix Review).
My kids rock and my wife is my best friend, but please don't hold that against me.
