Leavitt to serve with the Mortgage Regulatory Commission for the State of Utah. His leadership roles within the organization included serving as both Vice Chairman and Chairman. Rodney Morley also previously served as a member of the Board of Trustees on the Utah Association of Realtors. Earlier in his career, he gained extensive professional experience as Regional Director for Franklin Covey Company, Chairman of National Real Estate Professionals, Inc., and President and owner of the Independence Group.

The early career achievements of Mr. Morley include earning recognition as a finalist in 2001 and 2002 for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Rodney Morley graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Organizational Psychology. A longtime resident of Utah, he currently lives in Highland. In his personal time, he enjoys staying active through community service and various outdoor activities. He is also an enthusiast of sports, music, and auto racing.
