Roger E Bendelac

A strategic consultant in global investment banking with a focus on emerging markets for small and medium enterprises, Roger E. Bendelac has held positions in a number of prestigious investment banking firms and brokerage houses headquartered in New York City. Currently serving as Director of OpenCap Brazil, Inc.; Executive Director for Geo Genesis Group, Ltd; and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Geo Global Capital Corporation; Roger E. Bendelac began his career at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. In his five years at Oppenheimer & Co., Bendelac rapidly rose to the position of Senior Vice President in the Private Client Division, managing global accounts, both private and institutional. Roger E. Bendelac subsequently accepted a Senior Vice President position at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc., followed by the same position at E. F. Hutton & Co., overseeing commodities investments and international securities in Europe and Latin America. Roger E. Bendelac went on to become an Investment Executive for Westminster Securities Corporation, an eventual acquisition of Hudson Securities, Inc. He next became a co-founder and Principal in REB Futures, Inc., a United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)-registered commodity pool operator (CPO). Laidlaw Global Securities, Inc. hired Roger E. Bendelac as its Managing Director in 1997, which led to his roles as the President, CEO, and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the organization’s larger firm, Laidlaw Global Corporation. After his work at Laidlaw, he created Roger Bendelac Advisors, LLC, where he now operates as a Managing Member. Roger Bendelac was educated at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, located in France. After graduation, he moved to New York City to attend Columbia Business School, earning his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and International Business.
