THE DISCOURSE

The cutting edge discourse about law firm technology, speaks to the design and formal insertion of a different “technological” professional within law firms. This discourse is about a professional that is knowledgeable across an overarching technological context encompassing data privacy, data access, data security, information governance (IG), information management (not the same as IG), knowledge management, e-Discovery, litigation support, practice management as well as conventional information technology.

The discourse touches on the paradigms of adult learning, change management, identity diversity, creativity and innovation. Ongoing engagement and resultant implementations in the aforementioned areas help law firm organizations ensure that client services and the related costs are mitigated at all times. I am passionate about this ongoing discourse, and wish to engage with other minds that are also alive to these paradigms within law firm environments.

We all operate in/from different organizational contexts, however, I believe that it is important to maintain solid relationships within e-Discovery and information governance's fluid (and rapidly changing) landscape; e-Discovery and information governance relationships matter! I look forward to engaging with you in time ahead and sharing knowledge from my 25+ years of being immersed in legal technology.
