Career coach and creative/tech recruiter by day, baker by night, I thrive on nurturing people's careers and placing them in the right environment. Born in Tennessee with a short stopover in Ohio, I spent my formative years on the South Shore of Massachusetts finally landing in New York for undergrad at NYU. I had a personal passion for design and media and a background in publishing and stumbled into creative recruiting in 2005. An equally consuming passion for sweets drew me to take a hiatus to pursue an education in pastry at the French Culinary Institute. During stints as a chocolatier and baker, I found myself (more than once) calling old contacts to help friends find work and realized recruiting was in my blood. In the last year I have begun leveraging the skills I have gained in 10 years as a recruiter to help others, working with grads of General Assembly's immersive User Experience and Web Developement courses to position them to successfully enter the tech market with newly minted skills.

Also, I have cats and like them enough to mention here but I'm firmly on this side of the line of cat lady. As proof, I almost never post pictures, which is impressive becasue they are really f'ing cute! And I consider myself equally a dog person.
