She received the Performist Incentive Award and the Triple Crown Award for her work. Between 2005 and 2007, Romie Jean-Charles functioned as the Respiratory Sales Specialist for Sepracor Inc. She oversaw a three-county territory that included the Bethesda and Rockville metropolitan areas in Maryland. Jean-Charles grew market share from 13.3 percent to 29.5 percent, exceeding her goal by 64 percent.
Romie Jean-Charles studied nursing at Hampton University in Virginia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. She then became a Cardiac Care Technician at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in New York and prepared patient care plans. She kept patients and their families informed through discussions of diagnoses, procedures, and pain management. Additionally, she helped with training of new personnel. In her first sales position, Romie Jean-Charles found a tremendous amount of success as a Territory Sales Representative at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
