Ron Austring

I love sailing and I've been fortunate to live, and work, in the Caribbean since 1993 on a Freedom 45 sailboat called Far Niente.

My second passion is software development. I've worked in the software development industry for over 25 years. I'm a cofounder of Zadall Systems Group with Mark Lyle and Barry Guld, a cofounder of Pdx, Inc with Ken Hill, and a cofounder of www.drugstore.com. invented the Adix/Pdx programming language/environment with Jim Fehring. Inventor of NuScript, RxStudio, Optimo and most recently OptimoSync.
