Rose Angelica is a recording artist on Lamon Records Nashville. Her music is pure Americana/ Folk/ Country/ and Rock-a-Billy. She writes from the heart and her music is about her life experiences in The Ohio Valley.
She just performed at the CMA Fan Fair 2015 in Nashville , Tn. and had a benefit concert @ Fort Knox for the troops. Rose is a singer/songwriter, teacher and musician who has taught music in the Ohio Valley for 35 years. She was a member of The Ohio State University Marching Band and has a Master's Degree in Music from OSU. Rose plays at many charity events and raises money for music scholarships. She was inducted into the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame in 2007, was honored with a Community Star award, and has been chairman of the Dean Martin Festival for the past 16 years in Steubenville, Ohio and has raised thousands of dollars for music scholarships in the Ohio Valley.
Rose composes for various TV , radio and commercial markets.
Her hit WV Miners was dedicated to the Sago Mine disaster and their families in WV and was commissioned at Bethany College, WV.
Her hit song The Wish is about a child's prayer to be adopted at Christmas time, and her newest hit Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer is the party/ line dance hit of the summer.
Rose is described as the female Johnny Cash. She listened to Elvis, Hank, Johnny Cash, Patsy, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra as a kid, giving her a diverse musical background,
Rose playes the guitar and trumpet and is a member of Bugles Across America and plays TAPS at many military functions.
Rose performs all over the USA and has also performed in Europe and Canada. She just finished a 3 month winter tour in Florida and recently played at Ride for Dime Florida donating her talents to the Children's Charity of Tampa Bay.
Rose was a featured performer at The Independent Music Festival in Nashville and The Songwriters Festival in Nashville, Tn. in 2013 and was a guest artist at CMA Fan Fair 2011 -2015 in Nashville, Tn.
Rose was a featured performer at Wheeling Island Casino in November and has just released a new CD, DVD and children's book titled Mikey's Song for autism awareness. 100% of all royalties and sales go to the Mikeyfied Fund for Adult Autism. She is currently writing songs for other artists, and getting ready for her Florida winter tour 2015-16.
