I was born in New York and began working in tourism with tour wholesalers in New York and France. In 2002, I started Roseworks Marketing, a strategic communications and marketing consulting firm specializing in tourism and entertainment.

Some of my clients include Broadway/West End shows such as MAMMA MIA!, WICKED, and BLUE MAN GROUP, and CHICAGO. Tour wholesalers, like Travel Bound (Kuoni Travel Group), AlliedTPro (Kuoni Travel Group), Opentours, Inc. ,and Destination Management organizations such as the California State Tourism Office, and marketing alliances like Shop America Alliance/Tours and Anderson Retail Marketing.

I currently represent the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. They are one of my favorite clients. Working for them allows me to indulge in my art history background!

I am free-lance writer with regular contributions to travel industry journals and magazines like “The Tour Operator” and “Shop America Magazine”. I also write advertising/marketing copy for various New York tourism entities such as Planet Hollywood, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and Circle Line Downtown. My best writing? My personal creative writing which includes a biography of my parents, short stories about dating and my poetry. (To read, see my personal blog listed below!)

I used to volunteer in many tourism associations such as HSMAI (Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International), RSA (Receptive Services of America) and am a frequent guest lecturer and panelist on behalf of the tourism industry. And now, I prefer to volunteer in other organizations; I've worked with seniors and children in the vein of education. I love it!

I love to travel and live in different places. Currently in France, after spending three years in Ireland, I have visited over 30 countries and I love adding a new destination each year. I have a B.A. from CUNY, City College in Communications and Literature, a M.A. from the National University of Ireland - Galway in International Contemporary Literature, and an M.A. in History and Literature from Columbia University New York.

Currently I am a PhD Candidate at EHESS (Ecole Haute Etudes Sciences Sociales) in Paris. I am bilingual in English/Spanish and fluent in French. I want to speak Italian better - it's harder than you think! I'm in love with Portuguese, especially the Brazilian kind, again, need more head space!
