Dr. Rotimi Aderohunmu served the University of Denver Daniels College of Business in his capacity as associate professor of business information and analytics for over a decade. Before recently retiring, he taught classes ranging from Operations Research to Statistical Quality Control. Over his career, he has published numerous papers in scholarly journals. In recognition of his accomplishments, The Women’s College voted Dr. Rotimi Aderohunmu Outstanding Professor of the Year.

In preparation for his academic career, Dr. Rotimi Aderohunmu enrolled at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he earned his doctorate in operations research and production systems. Earlier, he secured a master of science in mechanical engineering and a master of business administration from the University of Denver. As an undergraduate, Dr. Aderohunmu studied at Ahmadu Bello University, which awarded him a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.

Beyond his experience as teacher and researcher, Dr. Aderohunmu worked in the private sector at the Stearns Roger Corporation in Denver, where he carried out stress analyses related to power plants and their piping infrastructures.
