I am Roxy from thesunny--sometimes rainy--archipelago of the Philippines, where everyone will welcome you with their warmest smiles.

I finished a degree in Sociology at the University of Santo Tomas. Currently, I am working in a humanitarian organization and is interested in community engagement.

Jill of all trades: that's what they usually describe me. Yet, honing and acquiring skills have always been my passion since it brings out the best in me.That's the reason why I usually spend my weekends attending workshops. Learning for me need not to be confined inside the four walls of a classroom. I learn from failures and successes,books, travels, and people.

In my spare time, I do maintain a travel blog wherein I get to share my insights and encounters during my awesome trips.

I aspire to be a respected writer someday. Since,I believe that it is one of those professions that uses your heart and mind at the same time.

If there’s one thing I am proud to share about myself it is not using any straw since November 2012. Yes, you read it right! I don’t use any straws whenever I drink my frappe simply because straws are merely garbage and I just don’t want to add up with the torture our Mother Earth is experiencing.

Lastly, did I already say that I’m addicted to coffee.
