Todd is the founder and CEO of iPar, an impact transparency platform facilitating capital deployed to encourage human flourishing.
Previously, during nearly 29 years as a lawyer, partner and leader at Jones Day, Todd founded the Firm's Northern California presence, led its Silicon Valley office and served as founding and Global Head for its Renewable Energy and Sustainability practice, where he served companies, funds and nonprofits focused on renewable energy, sustainability, and those using the internet and “for-benefit” models to help our planet and its people to flourish.
Todd’s social entrepreneurship and impact investing leadership dates back to 2000, long before mainstream use of the terms, and since that time he has counseled, advised and represented hundreds of organizations, entrepreneurs, venture and private equity funds, family offices, foundations, public charities and related organizations seeking to address some of the world’s most challenging problems (including extreme poverty, human trafficking, infant mortality, and technology innovation for education, philanthropy, health, energy, energy storage and global development), in some of the world’s hardest places.
Todd often speaks and writes. He tweets @rtjohnson and blogs at BusinessForGood.co.
