Ruggero Blasi

Turin

Born in Terlizzi (Ba) in 1985. He studies design in Rome and Turin where he graduates in Industrial Design. His interests in product and communication design methodology motivate him to reach a Master degree in Ecodesign at Politecnico di Torino (To) and to collaborate as teaching assistant in Design history, Visual communication history, Ecodesign history and System design classes, during his studies, and System design history, after the graduation. His Master degree thesis is about Multimedia history. Now he carries out a research about sustainability and communication, during the PhD in Design Sciences at IUAV (Ve). Meanwhile he contributes to write the book "DiDesign: ovvero niente. Strumenti critici e criticabili per leggere la produzione degli anni zero", Espress Edizioni, edited by M. Cafarelli, and he works on the lay out of the book, "Design e corporate image. Per una storia dell'identità visiva nazionale", FrancoAngeli, edited by D. Baroni and P.P. Peruccio. He is engaged in the conference "La luce e i suoi percorsi passionali", at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa (Ve), and takes part in some photographic contests such as TIF '10 - Torneo Intenazionale di Fotografia, by Centro Visual (To), and Photographic Workshop with Massimo Siragusa, by Landscape Stories (Ve). Ruggero speaks Italian, English and French.
