Hello, my name is Ana.

I'm an UX Designer with a strong background in Psychology. I've recently certified as UXD with General Assembly. Prior to that I mastered in Organisational Psychology and studied Architecture.

I'm passionate about UX design as it is at the crossroads of Psychology, Design and modern technology. Having the chance to develop something innovative which improves other people's lives inspires me.

The research aspects are familiar to what I have practised as former Psychologist but greatly enriched by the actual design, functionality and usability focus.

My background also greatly supports my work in the development of personas and in the determination of the core needs and pains of a user.

I'm very analytical and excellent problem solver with a good eye for detail. Therefore, I am able to look through complex processes and see when and how simplifications or improvements would be feasible and useful. I really enjoy prototyping, testing and iterating.

I have an open mind and do not easily fall into stereotypes or get stuck in the status quo. My design process reflects this by starting out from a neutral perspective and continuous by challenging any assumptions on an ongoing basis.
