Ruth Jacobs

Writer, Broadcaster, and Campaigner in London

I am the author of Soul Destruction: Unforgivable, the first in a series of novels that expose the dark world and harsh reality of life as a drug addicted call girl. The story follows Shelley Hansard, a heroin addicted and crack psychotic London call girl, who gets the opportunity to take revenge on a client who raped her and her friends. The main storyline is based loosely on events from my own life.

In addition to fiction writing, I am also involved in journalism and broadcasting, primarily for human rights campaigning in the areas of sex workers' rights, anti-sexual exploitation and anti-human trafficking.

My short charity publication, In Her Own Words... Interview with a London Call Girl, is available to download from Amazon and all royalties are donated to Beyond the Streets, a UK charity working to end sexual exploitation.

Life, my short crime story about Max, a crack-addicted failed father facing a life sentence for a crime he can’t remember committing, is free to download on Kindle and ePub formats. Another of my short crime stories, Protection, can be read online at Near to the Knuckle.
