Ruven Gotz

At work, I am passionate about solving business problems through the innovative application of technology. I like to break down silos and deliver end-to-end solutions that serve my clients and their customers.

I am based in Avanade’s Manhattan office where I am Avanade’s Technology & Innovation Director for the Northeast (New York, Pennsylvania, New England, New Jersey).

With over 25 years of technology consulting experience, I have spent the past decade building innovative collaboration solutions for my clients. I have advised clients on governance, information architecture and the adoption of collaboration and enterprise social tools.

I have presented at many conferences across North America as well as Europe, Africa and Australia. I am the author of a book on Information Architecture. I have been recognized for over eight years by Microsoft as an MVP for being a thought leader and an educator.

I was born in South Africa, grew up in Toronto, but am now enjoying the pace of life in Manhattan. I have been happily married for over 30 years and I am tremendously proud of the people my twin daughters and my son have grown up to be.
