Ryan Shelby

I use my Ph.D in Cognitive Science to design user interfaces and to herd cats at a company called FileMaker, Inc. Previously I built scripts and ran image quality tests at Qualcomm MEMS. I've also done a bit of freelance web and mobile stuff, mostly in the academic sector.

In school, I studied epistemic priming, distributed cognition, and statistical memory modeling. My hobbies include explaining why the field of HCI is like, rad, you know?

My writing can be found at The Alchemist, and occasionally on my personal blog. I tweet frequently and amusingly.
