Sabrina Buckwalter is a fellow for Al Jazeera English working as an assistant producer for People and Power, an award-winning investigative news magazine show. She is also a communications manager at Columbia University where she received two degrees. In 2011 she graduated with a B.A. in political science and in 2012 received an M.S. from the Graduate School of Journalism. She was accepted into the school's highly competitive Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism where she wrote her master's thesis on honey laundering.

She got her start in journalism interning for Women's Wear Daily and later wound up at The Times of India in Mumbai after a study abroad trip to the country. She worked as a full-time staff reporter as a news features correspondent covering topics like art, health, crime and human interest stories.

Sabrina is a member of the New York Press Club and was elected to the board in 2011 for a year term. She is also a member of the South Asian Journalists Association, Investigative Reporters and Editors and Society of Professional Journalists.
