Saima Ferdows

I am a freelance Assistant Producer working in both comedy and reality genres, I am equally at home on location or in studio.

I am incredibly passionate in my work and can turn around shows quickly with limited budget and resources. I have experience in casting, archive, writing research packs and biogs, shooting IVs and auditions, cutting audition tapes and more. I have experience in managing an archive budget of several thousand pounds. I've remotely set up shoots all over the world from the United States to remote places in Serbia. I have a lot of location experience and am an asset to any PD. I'm never phased with the location of the work Coach Trip has taken me all across Europe!

I'm incredibly passionate about story telling, the more compelling a story the better. I am able to connect with people and get the best out of them.

My other passion is comedy, in every and all forms. I devour comedy shows from sitcoms to stand up specials. I also attend as many live shows that I can, I've seen hundreds of stand up shows, improv shows and more. Having also attended improv courses myself I have a deep appreciation and understanding of the skill and how it can relate to writing.
