After growing up in Porto-Novo and Cotonou, Salimane has lived in Accra, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Beijing. He's most interested into Solving Real Problems, Identifying Things That Matter, Predicting Trends and Technology.

Salimane is known for being opened to others' ideas even if they are opposed to what he believes. But do notice that he does not get brain-watched or distorted by what somebody just said or wrote,  He usually connects the missing puzzles and uses his brain to make sense of the whole picture.

Salimane believes all the problems we usually face, are because of Information. He argues that it's not that we lack of Information, we just don't go get it and even if we have access to it, we don't know how to make sense of it. A fact-based world view will fundamentally transform people, companies and countries development.

If everybody is doing it, Salimane is probably not doing it, he's doing the next thing or a different thing. He was once heard saying "Don't Be Evil No Matter What". He said If he could directly or indirectly put smiles on the faces of people that needs it, then he would have achieved the best thing in his life.
