Born and raised in Washington DC; lived and worked in the SF Bay Area since 1983 & now live in Santa Fe, NM. Spent ~20 years as a journalist-editor-pundit. Became a venture investor in 1996. Invested in Tivo & Glu Mobile while at NEA. Early director at Sonos. Started Alsop Louie Partners with Gilman Louie in 2006, lead Series A in Twitch (aka Justin.tv), Sapho, Ursa Major & Meow Wolf. Like to cook AND eat. Art lover. Fisherman.
