It only takes a quick Google search of my name to find out that my claim to fame was my work as a technology journalist. But after two decades of bylines, I have shifted into professional communications.

I have taken my skills as a career journalist and taken them to companies that want control over their own content. Over the past 5 years, I have reinvented corporate newsrooms for Broadcom Corp. and HP Inc., Fortune 500 technology companies that were both looking to elevate the corporate voice across social media. In both instances, I was responsible for the companies' digital news footprints, including web presence, blogs and social media operations.

Beyond that, I'm a husband and a dad. I'm a techie who prefers a Mac and was pressured into an iPhone by teenagers who like to Facetime. Football season is my favorite time of the year - and I am a proud Oakland Raiders season ticket holder. Musically, I'm an Old School and Classic Rock guy. Politically, I'm more of a moderate - but the goal posts keep moving, so I've been called worse. I'm a native Californian, which means I wear shorts pretty much year-round. I'm a bit of a force at the poker table (I've been playing in a weekly game for almost 20 years.) 've struggled for years to be defined as a "runner" - but I'm trying... I consider myself to be a man of God and a believer that all things happen for a reason. I am grateful for the higher-power that has provided me with the courage, wisdom and determination that has taken me this far.
