Hi, I'm Sam.
I'm an entrepreneur and finance guy.
As an undergraduate I studied environmental science at Bates College and received an MBA from Johns Hopkins in 2008 - concentration in corporate finance. I've started two internet companies: Workstreamer and Eat.ly and have worked/advised numerous other startups both in product strategy and biz dev. Prior to that I had stints at AOL, OPIC and a small PE firm.
I've recently joined RocketFuel. We're management consultants to leading media brands such as CBS, NYSE, NHL and exciting startups like Interlude.fm. I focus on corporate development and our incubation practice. I also do technology event coverage for alarm:clock.
