Thu is an innovative event planner who specializes in marketing for small businesses. She holds 10 years of experience in event planning.

Thu is also the founder of Illusive Events Company that has generated over 50 highly profitable events. Being a female founder has gained her respect among her peers because of the competitive nature in the industry.

Thu has received multiple certifications in performance, maintaining the top producer title in sales for Wireless Advocates. She has also published multiple stories for the Pioneer newspaper in areas of campus life, arts and life and metro.

She has experience in shooting video, using programs like Final Cut Pro and Premiere Elements to edit and create documentaries including news pieces.

Thu has a passion for communicating with all different types of people and considers her genius to be her ability to relate to a wide range of diverse people. The lesson she values the most, through her experiences as a student and profession is being able to find balance.

She is currently a senior at Cal State East Bay and prides herself in balancing a job, internship and maintaining healthy relationships with friends and family. Thu interns at a finance company in San Mateo holding a marketing and relations position. She is the driving force on a new project unfolding within her internship that will lead into a new marketing company with a strong system to follow. Thu is proud to be from the East Bay, where she resides.
