Sammy was born in Manado in 1978 and started diving from when he was 18, from 1996. Sammy fell in love with the water and the profession and a year later in 1997, he completed his Open Water Dive certificate, and become a PADI certified instructor in 2007. In 2008, Sammy moved to Bali with the family , and one of the sought after freelance instructor for PADI and SSI. He is fully versed in dive equipment, compression and is a fully licensed SSI Instructor .
