Some say there are no second acts in life, but Samuel Isaacs was determined to try for a third. At the age of 71, Samuel Isaacs sought to further his education by adding a diploma along with his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Education degrees. In April 2010, Samuel Isaacs graduated magna cum laude from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida. Undaunted by his advanced years and his status as the oldest student in the culinary arts program, Samuel Isaacs managed to hold his own with classmates who were about one-third his age. Samuel Isaacs credits his zeal for cooking and mastering difficult techniques to propelling him through the long hours of the physically grueling program. Personal Chef Samuel Isaacs launched his catering company, Culinary Comfort, alongside his wife Denise, a sous chef. Samuel Isaacs garnered immediate approval following his initial catering gigs. At a party held in honor of the past presidents of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, Chef Samuel Isaacs prepared an extravagant seven-course meal. Chef Samuel Isaacs also pleased the particular palates of health food activists at the celebration for Denise Parrotta's latest undertaking, livethesource ® vitamins. Creating custom-made comfort food from an array of ethnic cuisine and exotic, spicy flavors with fresh, seasonal ingredients is what ignites Chef Samuel Isaacs' passion for cooking. For Chef Samuel Isaacs, life truly begins at 70. Chef Samuel Isaacs and his wife Denise live in Boca Raton, Florida.
