Sam Winter

I am an Entrepreneur who lives the best life on the Gold Coast. I love supporting and mentoring new startups. I currently volunteer at local Startup Incubator Silicon Lakes.

I am the Co-Founder of Startup Apprentice, an educational 'young entrepreneurs' program for High School Students, and Co-Founder of a number of other new startups, watch this space for updates.

I have a background in PR, marketing, communications and events management in both the private and government sectors.

I created the online brand Sassi Sam back in 2005 learning the ropes of what not to do over a period of nearly 10 years.

I built a fashion and beauty destination that attracted over 150,000 unique visitors a month. I worked with a small team of professionals to link my brand with some of Australia’s top organisations, including Dior, L’Oreal, Givenchy, Guerlain & Kora Organics. I also worked with high profile people including Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Hawkins and Megan Gale.

About Me: I am passionate about health and wellbeing and love to nourish my life holistically. I love to sing at the top of my voice when I'm at home alone (no one needs to experience my singing voice) especially to Frank Sinatra. I also have an earthly obsession with trees and being outside in nature (find me on pinterest @sassisam).
