San Ima

San Ima ist eine Band, die zwischen Kulturen, Bildern, Poesie und Verwirrung wandert. Berlin ist die Bühne dieses musikalischen und visuellen Dialoges zwischen brasilianischen Bossa Nova und Technologie. Klänge voller saudade; ein Entgegenkommen der Fragen ohne Antworten: San Ima nennt es Broken Bossa.

San Ima – was „der Heilige jetzige Moment“ bedeutet – ist ein 4-D Erlebnis für alle Sinne, welches mit der Melancholie des Exodus und der Energie der Hedonisten spielt. San Imas neue CD „Saudadich“ ist das letzte Ergebnis dieser kulturellen Anthopophagie.

San Ima is a band thrilling between cultures, images, poetry and confusion. Berlin is the stage of this musical and visual dialogue between Brazilian Bossa Nova and technology. Sounds with saudade to confront questions with no answers: San Ima calls it Broken Bossa.

San Ima – which means „the Saint of Now“ – is a performance of crossing bridges; a 4-D experience for all senses. It plays with the melancholy of exodus and the energy of hedonists. San Ima's new CD "Saudadich" is the last consequence of this cultural anthropophagy.
