Sandhya Ramachandran

Hello!

I am Sandhya Ramachandran, a writer and filmmaker, based out of Mumbai, India.

Over the last 12 years, I have gathered experience creating written, video and illustrated content in both online and offline platforms. I have always considered myself a storyteller and explored creating engaging content on diverse topics, including film, food, culture, eCommerce, travel and literature.

I have had the privilege of working in both corporate as well as startup environments, including top companies like Disney, About.com and Network 18 (burrp.com). My skill-set apart from writing and filmmaking includes content strategy, copywriting, editing, brand/community management and illustration. For the past one year, however, I have been enjoying a freelancer's life, working as a consulting content strategist and film critic.

I hold a Post Graduate diploma in Film and Video Communication from the National Institute of Design and a Bachelors degree in Architecture. I owe my design thinking and problem solving capacities to my education, which also contributed to an artistic bent in my personality.
