"Seamless operations setting is a universal ground zero for scalable organization system"

Operations Management has been an organic curiosity which kickstarted during my undergrad days. Understanding the mechanics behind how different departments work together in coalition to achieve the overall goals of an organization has been a personal passion since then.

Given the opportunity to continue this passion as a profession, I started heading Operations at TechStory, a premier media platform covering the trends in the Indian Startup Ecosystem. This gave me the opportunity to get my hands dirty in running a business from scratch as I had to be directly responsible for managing the content online while simultaneously scaling the team, partners and audience for the company.

TechStory also gave me a platform to interact with entrepreneurs across India on how they are building a scalable organization and witness the role of technology in enabling, automating and scaling the operations in startups.

After ensuring that the core operations are set in TechStory, I once again decided to pursue my academic interests and joined Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management in 2018. During my time, I have been a part of multiple committees for SIOM's flagship events and was awarded the scholarship to pursue a semester abroad in Leeds Beckett University, UK.

The semester abroad program in United Kingdom gave me an exposure to how people across the globe think while discussing strategies in our classroom sessions and helped me to better equip myself to cater to a global audience. I interned as a student researcher for the Retail Institute of Leeds Beckett University, where my project was to "map the agritech startups in India across a value chain".

Post MBA, I joined Ninjacart, one of India's leading agritech supply chain startups. Ninjacart gave me the opportunity to work on key profit and loss projects that helped in improving the bottom line for the business. Apart from P&L projects, I also got the chance to work with the team that redesigned new process and product flows in the supply chain in order to run the operations more efficiently.

I have keen interest in Business Process Improvement, Supply Chain Management and Startups in general.
