Sarah Davidson is a contemporary applied artist and freelance illustrator, specialising in illustration, textiles, and jewellery.

Her emotive illustrations which incorporate both nostalgia and modernism are created from various mediums, which together form a multiple layered image with the contrast of neat shapes, random sharp lines and ink puddles applied to aged and forgotten family portraits.

Her textiles and jewellery pieces reflect and extract elements from her illustrations, channelling them with the use of techniques, materials and colour. Her 3D metal work acts as a structure and base for her wearable pieces of art, embellished with elements of textiles.
