I am fortunate enough to be able to do two things I love: teach and write. I have been teaching writing and literatuere at the college level for over a decade. And I've been writing (with intention and structure of sorts) since I was a teenager.

At my University, I teach compostion, writing, and literature courses, coordiante the tutoring center, and co-cordinate the freshman mentor program.

I have recently published my first book, Brilliant Disguise: an ugly story of a beautiful redemption. It is a memoir about my struggles over a 6-year period with bulimia, depression, and faith and how I emerged on the other side a whole, joyful person.
