Sara Nahrwold earned her undergraduate degrees in journalism, telecommunications and history from Ball State University in May 2013. She is currently pursusing a master of arts in journalism from Ball State and will graduate in May 2015.

She is also a member of the Invictus Writers, a group of students from Ball State who are working on personal essays. You can read her blogs about the writing process here.

Sara has written for the university newspaper, The Ball State Daily News, both in print and online as well as for the school magazine, Ball Bearings.

In her undergraduate years, she did three internships- The Fort Wayne News Sentinel, U.S. Army Cadet Command Fort Knox, Ky. and U.S. Army Cadet Command Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.

During her junior year, she studied abroad for nine months in Plymouth, England, traveling to a total of eight countries.

She is pursing a journalism career as a long form storyteller in the print and/or online worlds.
