I work for Microsoft in Switzerland as a Software Development Engineer focusing on the Microsoft cloud platform and development tools. In this role, I introduce the Swiss developer community to the latest trends.

My current focus is on Internet of Things technologies, cloud and client, on Cognitive Services and the Bot framework, on cross platform app development using Xamarin and on emerging technologies such as HoloLens and natural user interfaces.

My studies involve Computer Science at ETH Zurich and Information Management at the University of Zurich. My work experience include working as a software-developer and -architect for a major Swiss bank and as a systems engineer and technology specialist for Silicon Graphics.

I am the jury president of the category "Innovation" for the Best of Swiss Web awards and part of the Juries "Internet of Things" and "Wearables" for the Best of Swiss App awards.
