Hey there. I'm Sasha. I was born in the Soviet Union and immigrated to San Diego, California when I was in kindergarden. I've been in the Bay Area for nine years, starting with Stanford, and eventually moving to San Francisco, where I've now lived for five years. 

Since I was small, I've always asked a lot of questions. That, along with my interest in people and technology, led me to user research. In the past, I've helped start up the user research program at YouTube. I've also worked on the Android team, and most recently I've been helping start the user research program at Airbnb. 

Outside of work, I love to read, take photos, run (slowly) and ask questions. Lots of questions.
